At first I was curious. A new form of internet advertisement that isn't a popup? Sweet! It was unique in that when you scroll your mouse to the top right of the page, where the page seems to be falling off, the web page flips halfway revealing the advertisement.

But this form advertisement's positive points stop there. From here on, it's a problem. It's a problem because is that if people just tack the ad on their site without proper planning, they could end up making some links unusable.

Take a look at http://www.sys-con.com/ (which has ALOT of advertisements by the way, even with duplicate google adsense boxes. But that's for another time)

As you can see, there are two links to the top right: Education and Books. However, if the page finishes loading the script/flash of the peel ad stops you from clicking those links. I find it ironic that in order to use the advertisement, you end up making the site less accessible, and more annoying. Please, think of the viewers!

I am a shy man. What I think inside my head may be harsher than what I think other people judge me. I was going off the bus when I saw the old blind woman go off the same stop. She was the same one who forget her glasses on some other bus, while I waited for mine. I was about to go off my own route and head for home when I saw her walking through the sidewalk. I had a bad feeling about it. It seemed to me that she wasn't aware of the stop lights and where she was relative to traffic. I tried to go off but as I heard the passing cars, I saw she was standing near the side of the road (literally). I was at the sidewalk and I didn't know what to do... On one hand, should I help her? On the other, leave her be, people are watching. I don't know why I had that thought. People where yonking their horns at her, and someone finally said, "help her off the street!" It was only then that I tried to reach her hand and move her back to the crosswalk. When it was out turn, I helped her cross the street, and she thanked me, and walked on. However, it stayed in my mind that I didn't do that conditionally. Somehow it irks my conscience that I am more worried about my own image (haha) than the safety of this lady. From now on, I think whenever I have the chance, I will do my best to help outright. I'm sure some of you have had this situation but had the urge to stop for some reason.

It's sad to see another site not able to work under Opera... (9.52)

Anyways, I need need other resolutions here. I will change my priorities and I will be better for it.

Someone is playing the violin outside, and I know it's coming from one of my neighbors on another street. It's a very sweet tone: a violin (viola?) under midnight. Only recently have I heard of this playing. Maybe I might take a look at who is playing the music.

What isn't written about enough in today's world?

I believe that we need a book on wisdom, truth, and chivalry. Let's remove some chaos from our lives and start mending the hidden tears.
